It had been a most memorable November we had had this year. Please allow me to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone who took part in the successful Jog-A-Thon event we recently had. Your help, support and loving volunteerism made it all happen. Thank you so much for the contributions, too. It will go a long way for your child’s class to fund their activities. We shall hope for your untiring support again, next year.
After having successfully celebrated this year’s Thanksgiving holiday and the Jog-A-Thon, we are now moving towards the celebration of the Holidays that will bring about the good tidings that embodies everything that we have been thankful for. The spirits of love, peace and joy are shared with our families and friends with the celebration of Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanzaa. This is our way of responding to our program on learning multi-cultural diversity. The children are excited to learn the symbols, songs, food and the practices of the people celebrating these two other holidays.
The month of December may be a short month but we sure are making it as fruitful as we can by learning so many new things around us. We are making sure that we can make the most out of our short time together before the New Year comes in January. The long week of respite will allow us to prepare to meet the new challenges for the coming New Year 2020.
May the season bring forth all the blessings to you and your family.
Happy Holidays to everyone!
Ms. Ivie
